How To Ride Waves

There is something quite amusing about water. Scientifically speaking, water’s heat power is more than twice that of natural minerals and rock content heat capacity. On Earth, from day to night and from summer to winter, water helps to balance out temperature variations. So, to summarise it, water is brilliant. It is a source of life, yet it can kill you if you don’t respect its' capabilities. If we think about it, water can be one of the best analogies to describe what life offers.

Waves are kind of like the obstacles we have to face throughout our lives. Some waves are easy-going; you can easily glide over them. Other waves come and knock you right off of your feet. Although you think you are rooted in place, the wave might be stronger than you anticipated and even the heaviest and strongest man can be knocked down. After a while of swimming, the waves become tiresome. That is usually when you swim out to the beach and go for ice cream. Unfortunately, life doesn’t grant you that break of going for ice cream when you are tired. The waves of life just keep coming and there is nothing you can do to stop them.

The question is, what do you do when you are tired? What do you do when you can’t keep going anymore? That is a difficult question to answer because for some, the waves hit them a lot harder than others. This is where your choice comes in. You can learn to swim or dive deep under the waves to dodge them or you can let the water take over and drown. The point is, you choose your strength.

Life is a hard battle and you are fighting it every single day. Difficult times are going to come and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. You can either drown in adversity, or you can pick up a surfboard and enjoy the ride.
